“Macedonian Treasures” Vergina Tombs
At the beginning of this tour, you will head towards the ancient Vergina or “Aegaes” as per its ancient name, the first capital of Ancient Macedonia. There, you will have the opportunity to enter the tomb of King Philip the II, father of Alexander the Great, which was excavated in 1977, a site protected by UNESCO and considered one of the most important discoveries of the 20th century.
Your knowledgeable guide will guide you through a journey in the Hellenistic period, starting from the museum where you will admire all the Macedonian treasures and golden art findings from the royal tomb dating back to 4th century BC. After the conclusion of the guided tour, you will return to the meeting point in Thessaloniki.

“Myth & History” Mt. Olympus, Litochoro & Old Panteleimon
Our journey to Myth and History starts by visiting Stavros, the viewpoint at Mount Olympus, where you will enjoy breathtaking views of the so called “residence of the twelve Gods” and the endless surrounding area of the Olympus National Park. Our guide will introduce us to the myth and history of Ancient Greece, in the way that the people used to explain their everyday life and happenings through divinity. Our next short stop will be at Litochoro Village, which is located at the foothills of Mount Olympus where we will have a limited amount of free time to explore the picturesque village.
Our tour ends in the traditional village of Old Panteleimon, whose history traces back to the 14th century. There, you will have the time to stroll around and discover the scenic narrow stone paved streets, the cute houses, the hidden taverns, and coffee shops.
After our Lunch/Dinner break, we return to the meeting points of the tour.

Swimming in Sithonia
The program begins with a transfer by bus, to Ormos Panagias, situated in the North-Eastern part of the Sithonia Peninsula in Chalkidiki. From this seaport you will have the opportunity to explore the area of Ormos Panagia, Vourvourou and Trani Ammouda by yourself.
You will have the possibility to rent a small boat to explore Vourvourou and the crystal-clear waters, kayak, jet ski, SUP, Mega SUP, Pedalo, Snorkeling Equipment, or enjoy the Diaporos Island hiking, Mountain Bike rental, or just enjoy a sunny day on the beach accompanied with a cold coffee or local recipes at the restaurants. In the evening you will return to the meeting point in Thessaloniki.

Thessaloniki City Tour & Archaeological Museum & Museum of Byzantine Culture
Thessaloniki is the Capital of Northern Greece and the 2nd largest city of Greece, a city drifting in time from classical antiquity to modern days, preserving centuries of history till modern days through architecture, gastronomy, local people, and archaeological monuments. Among the 15 UNESCO heritage sites in the city, seize the opportunity to find out more about the most important of them through this tour.
Firstly, you will head to the upper town to the so called “Ano Poli” and observe the impressive byzantine walls that once used to be approximately 4km in length and 10-12 meters in height surrounding and protecting the city inhabitants from invaders. Moving on, you will spot the traditional architecture by visiting the Paleo Christian church of Saint Demetrios, the patron saint of the city and its catacombs.

During the “Taste of Thessaloniki” tour you will get to know the Greek cuisine at its finest. Ktima Florian Wine & Dorodouli Tsipouro Tasting
Greece! You cannot imagine this country without grapes and vines, a country which has more than 300 different grape varieties that are cultivated throughout different climate regions of Greece. It isn’t strange that the worshipping of god Dionysus started in Greece.
Through your tour you are going to find out about Greek grape varieties and the technologies that are used to produce this tasty alcoholic beverage with the fermented juice of grapes, which types of food it can be combined with, how it is better served and how you can get the best out of it.
After your Wine tour you will proceed to your next stop which will be a Tsipouro distillery. Tsipouro is a strong distilled spirit containing usually 40-45% alcohol, which can be served with almost any dish or snack, a drink very familiar to the Greek cuisine, the one that you will see almost on every lunch or dinner table where locals will be dining, but usually served alongside small meze dishes, an art form of alcohol that brought people together. At the distillery you are going to understand what tsipouro is, how one can drink it, which type of food can be better combined with and which types of tsipouro exist. After your tour you will have the opportunity to have dinner in Thessaloniki in one of many taverns that the city offers and experiment with your newly obtained experience in Greek Spirits.
